Geoff Pinkus joins Kelly Ripa, claiming their images were used without permission to promote weight loss pills:

Ripa's lawyers just fired off cease and desist letters to a slew of Internet based purveyors of Guarana weight loss products, saying she never agreed to have her name and image splashed all over their ads.

Kelly also claims the Guarana gang screwed customers by allegedly accepting payment -- then refusing to ship the products. The documents warn --"failure to do so will serve only to exponentially increase the substantial liability you already face..." This is fancy lawyer speak for, "we'll sue the crap out of you."

Similarly, Geoff Pinkus was upset that a company would do such a thing and was quoted to say “I work hard to maintain my look and I’m not going to stand for this.”

When asked if he was also considering legal action - Geoff replied: “Forget lawyers -- I'm sending Bobby Hitz to take care of them.”

The company that makes the diet supplements was unavailable for comment.
